GENERAL

Dominik Dungel M. A.

Dominik Dungel trained as a subject teacher for music and communication technology in Ansbach. From 2016 to 2022 he then studied musicology and philosophy at Leipzig University. Since 2021 he has held a scholarship of the Cusanuswerk and is currently writing a doctoral thesis in the history of church music. His dissertation examines questions of style formation and the instrumentalisation of church music in the 1920s and 1930s from the perspective of the sociology of knowledge. Within the framework of the DH Call 2023 the project was awarded funding by the German National Library.
